About

One of Aruba's longest-running sporting events is the annual Aruba Hi-Winds!

Aruba’s trade winds provide the perfect conditions for the largest amateur windsurfing event in the Caribbean.
Exciting windsurfing and kiteboarding lessons and activities are held off the beaches at the Fisherman’s Huts at Hadicurari, where flat water and steady winds are the perfect ingredients for top speed.
There are five days of non-stop entertainment, beach parties, events and activities.
Aruba Hi-Winds attracts over 100 amateur windsurfers from the Caribbean, U.S., Europe and Latin America.

Events include slalom, long-distance and freestyle for windsurfing and freestyle and long-distance for kiteboarding. Kiting events take place primarily at Boca Grandi on the southeast coast.

Contact the Aruba Tourism Authority or visit www.aruba-hiwinds.org for additional information.
