Tina Causey Bislick

Tina launched Island Temptations Magazine, Aruba's official guide to the best local addresses and highlighting Aruba's culture, heritage, arts and crafts. Island Temptations Magazine was published between 2000-2020. Tina's very successful run as Editor in Chief of Island Temptations Magazine was awarded with two Travel Writers Award of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).

Meanwhile Tina launched an online platform for Aruba travel information and local experiences, When in Aruba, providing insider tips on Aruba's best addresses and island experiences. Tina also authored a local children's book, owned two local restaurants in both San Nicolas as well as Eagle Beach, Aruba and is a culinary expert.

Given her culinary expertise Tina was commissioned by the Aruba Tourism Authority to organize the Bartender Brawl and Iron Chef showdown, local bartending and culinary craftmanship competitions that were an official component of the culinary event Authentico.

As a result of Tina's broad experience in media and content creation, with 27+ years of local island life under her belt, she  enjoys writing about culinary, culture, and local personalities.
