ECO DESTINATION SERVICES, LOOKING FOR A YOUNG, PROMISING LEADER

ECO Destination Management Aruba & Curacao is hereby announcing that it would be giving a scholarship to the Site Conference in Panama, Nov 5th to 7^th, to a young and promising local leader in tourism, or in a related area.  

This would be the fifth annual talent search, where ECO Destination Management seeks to identify and reward young talents in hospitality, and this year’s chosen person will be awarded a fully paid scholarship to the Panama Site Conference, November 5^th to 7^th.

Previous winners hailed from Aruba and from Curacao and all benefited greatly from their SITE CONFERENCE scholarships, over the past five years.

This year’s scholarship, says Wichita Villacres, President and CEO of the company, is meant to encourage young leaders to get involved with the MICE business directly or indirectly

To win, candidates are required to write an essay and direct it to ECO DMS

This essay, should state, their position; How long they have been working; Reasons for the interest and involvement in the MICE market; Their work-related passions; What makes their claim for a scholarship better than anyone else’s; What is their wish for Aruba’s MICE market, and how can they individually improve the destination, lastly, what has been their “love for the job,” participation in the island’s tourism industry to date.

ECO DMS continues to give back to the community, having made a donation to SCOL DUNUNMAN, recently, a scholarship is now offered to a promising young leader to encourage him/her and reassure him/her that hard work pays off handsomely.
